img_1378How Immigration from other countries influenced arts, music, instruments and dance in the Caribbean will be presented by Tamil Maldonado, Director of Barrio E’. This free presentation will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26 at the Lafayette Library on 775 W. Baseline Road.

 The Caribbean has been a place of immigration paths from different countries at different years and circumstances.  This presentation lets people explore and learn our history and how all those paths influenced the world in the long term. We will show instruments, maps with different years of immigration, talk about our ancestors, and where we are today.
