Volunteering for the arts is both fun and rewarding

Beer & Wine Garden  Join the team! Enjoy  the music, visit with friends, and help make Art Night Out huge success!  Volunteers who give 1 ½ hours at Art Night Out get a FREE DRINK!

Lafayette Police Department is offering a free training for all ARTS!Lafayette volunteers who wish to help with alcohol service, id checking and sales at the 2017 Art Night Out Beer & Wine Garden. Volunteers will learn how to check ids and other required safety precautions. ARTS!Lafayette will also seek additional volunteers for jobs that do not require training.

Ginga plays the traditional music of Brazil.

Ginga will bring the beautiful sounds of Brazilian music to the Sept. 16 Art Night Out. The Boulder based band has been refining its unique style of samba, forró, MPB, bossa nova, chorinho, and Brazilian jazz for 15 years. The city of Lafayette’s final Art Night Out of 2016 offers a fantastic night of art, music, dancing and community!

part of its monthly summer art series, Art Night Out. The Post and Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company will be pouring beer at the beer garden. Lafayette’s focus on art, original music, local bands and products, and a vibrant community sets Art Night Out apart from other area festivals. Art Night Out features a beer and wine garden area, unique artist booths, food trucks and free children’s activities. Children can be entertained by fairies or stilt walkers, balloon artists and magicians.

“We are very excited to be bringing Colorado bands that perform original, award winning music to Art Night Out. Our audiences appreciate the excellence and originality of these performers,” noted Susan Booker, Lafayette Cultural Resources Coordinator.

The street fair festivities and beer garden begin at 5:00 pm and are held along Public Road, from Emma to Cannon Streets. Bands perform from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at Festival Plaza. Only local, Lafayette-brewed beer will be served at the ARTS!Lafayette Beer Garden. Various Old Town restaurants, shops, galleries, and coffee shops will be offering live music, art demonstrations and more in conjunction with the Art Night Out events. The world class music of Mama Lenny and the Remedy will be featured at Lafayette’s Art Night Out on August 19. Hailing from Fort Collins, Mama Lenny and her band deliver a  bold fusion of soul, funk, rock, blues, and disco. Lafayette is proud to highlight award winning, Colorado musicians and Lafayette -crafted beer as part of its monthly summer art series, Art Night Out.  Front Range Brewing Co and Liquid Mechanics Brewing Company will be pouring beer at the beer garden.

Lafayette’s focus on art, original music, local bands and products, and a vibrant community sets Art Night Out apart from other area festivals.   Every third Friday, May through September, Art Night Out will feature a beer and wine garden area, more artist booths, free children’s activities, and food trucks. Children can be entertained by fairies or stilt walkers, balloon artists and magicians. Look for surprise performances before the band by local youth and adult artist.  In August and September a special performance troupe will  be a highlight at the south end of the venue, near Emma Street.

ARTS!Lafayette is looking for volunteers to help out with the July 15th Art Night Out featuring the Blue Canyon Boys.  “We, again, need more volunteers.  85 is the minimum we need and each month it is very hard to fill the spots,” said Rachel Hanson, President and volunteer coordinator of ARTS!Lafayette.
